Due to its production method wherein it floats over a bath of molten tin it is called ‘Clear Float Glass’. It is a higher quality type of clear glass as compared to sheet glass. It is comparatively free of any defects and distortions and can be produced in a wide range of thickness and extra large sizes. It is used widely in architecture, interiors, machineries and electronic products.

Product Details:

The Ultra Clear Float Glass is a type of float glass, which has very low iron content and hence is also called low iron glass. The iron content in float glass is usually 830 – 850 ppm (parts per million), while iron content in an extra clear glass is less than 150 ppm. It allows almost 92% of visible light to be transmitted. The greenish or bluish tint of impurity found in clear float glass is not seen here.

Uses:   

• Display counters of high value gold and diamond jewellery, Front facades of high end showrooms, Back-painted glasses to reflect true colours, as a Silvered mirror, Thick Laminated glass and Glass Furniture.

Product Details:

- Clear glass or transparent glasses are available in thickness from 2 mm - 25 mm

- Can be used as annealed glass or can be toughened to make Heat strengthened / tempered glass

- Can be customised as per client's requirement
